This was a waste of $50. If you don't need a battery that will recharge, then this will be perfect. The DV4030 will recognize the battery and show the charge level (arrived with 45% charge). However, it will not recharge. The description states it is a replacement for HP 383493-001 but it does not have full functionality.

The battery is not an exact physical replacement for the battery that came with my HP L2000. It extends below the bottom of the laptop and raises the back of the computer slightly on flat surfaces. However, it fits correctly, functions correctly and is very robust. :)

this is the 2nd time i am buying the same headphones. even though its very delicate n wobbly, its sound system is pretty awesome and clear. i usually listen to music on full volume.... and when i do with these headphones their bass quality is also pretty impressive. also for the price like this i dont know any other headphones which is as good as this one. the only negative point is, you have to take care of it and not use it roughly as its too fragile. Otherwise, you dont need to think about it before buying.

I review many batteries for my laptop and I am so glad that I choose this one. The battery fit prefectly. Let it charged overnight and unplugged it. It ran my laptop at full power for almost 4 hours before laptop turned off, that is awesome. I let the battery stay on charger for 12 hours while using laptop and then unplugged it. The next day I was able to use the laptop for over 3 hours without plugging it in. Big Thumbs up:)

comparing the old and dead battery, this is much better at least now i am able to use my labtop without the electricity cable butttt it does not perform good as the original battery. for short usage it is ok, but if you are looking for a good performance i guess changing the laptop is inevitable.

I have an HP Pavillion dv6000. Some reviews say the battery doesn't fit. It does... perfectly. But what's really important is that the product was delivered on time, exactly as promised, nicely sealed... totally new. And it gets better. I had a question about how long to charge it the first time, I called the customer service number and I swear I got the owner within 2 rings. He answered my questions, encouraged me to call again if I ever have any questions. He also offered to send me a sample of some of their newest batteries, so I could provide him direct feedback on how they work. Wow, a small company that takes the time to do customer service and customer service research. Buying a replacement battery is a pretty boring purchase... but it was the nicest retail experience I've had in a long time thanks to this company.

The first 2 batteries they sent me did not work with my laptop. The guy I spoke to at the company really worked with me to figure out the problem, and sent me a 3rd battery, the 3rd one worked like a charm. I could not believe how customer friendly he were.Usually I have a hard time getting intouch with sellers but this company was very different and the battery works like a charm and last a pretty long time too.Ive bought my share of laptop batteries from other sellers on Amazon and this was by far the best seller.
